Dismissal from Pro-ACT In-service Instructor and In-service trainings: Pro-ACT and Pro-ACT Restraint Certification trainings are certificated workshops approved by a variety of oversight agencies. To be considered for certification a participant must be present and able to participate all day, every day. Participants who do not present on the first day of training will be considered absent and will not be eligible for a refund or transfer. Participants who arrive late, or are absent for any portion of the training will be dismissed from the training without certification, refund, or transfer.
The performance of all participants is continually evaluated with regard to: progress and completion of the exercise booklet; interaction with all other persons in the training environment; conduct that demonstrates safety during any and all physical activities; a level of professionalism that exhibits an ability to safely and effectively present the Pro-ACT principles to others and indicates an awareness of the seriousness of the subject matter being trained.
Certification is dependent upon the criteria outlined above, the assessment and evaluation of the Pro-ACT, Inc. Instructor and given at his/her discretion. Certification is not simply a function of attendance. Participants who arrive late or leave early at any time during the training day or otherwise do not meet the criteria outlined above may be dismissed from class without certification, refund, or transfer.
